RHT Rajan Menon Foundation raised $264,000 at its third annual charity gold event at Singapore Island Country Club on May 26.

Donations came from clients and business associates of RHTLaw Taylor Wessing and the RHT Group of Companies in support of the Foundation’s primary beneficiaries, The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and Singapore Management University Pro Bono Centre, as well as two other selected beneficiaries, namely Singapore Red Cross Society and National Gallery Singapore.

Senior Minister of State for Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth Sim Ann, was the guest-of-honour.

Noting the many donors and sponsors who put philanthropy at the top of their corporate and individual priorities, Associate Professor Ho Peng Kee, Patron of RHT Rajan Menon Foundation commented: “Businesses and individuals today see the interconnectedness of their actions and their impact on the long-term sustainability of the community around them. Success and profitability are intertwined with the sustained prosperity and health of the community we serve.

“It heartens me to see the positive response RHT Rajan Menon Foundation Charity Golf has received in response to our efforts in rallying support for our beneficiaries.”
